i had a friend , that's so sad
i had a friend.......
a friend i had
the doctor said no
ambulance was too slow
what about your oath?
what about his youth?
stop ! think!
all the sorrow
i must see my shrink
'cause for him there is no tomorrow
there's a tear in my eye
i feel i might just cry
it's a cry of pain
it's a cry of hate
it's a cry in vain
was that his fate? now it is too late
every time i think of you
i am happy for what we did
my heart misses a beat for you
together things we did
how i wish i can talk to you
if only you were.....you
high in the sky , up-up there
i'll someday meet you there
together we can share a tear
talk of things we once fear
look back over our shoulder
and know we'll get no older
a perfect ending
not another extending
a life with just friends
and no more bitter ends
