Sometimes my life, is very hard to bare
It feels like at times, it's really not fare
I want the freedom, that others have
Freedom of fear, that things will go bad
I also want to love, like others do
And not be scared, if the love is true
I have so much love, but I'm afraid I will fall
So to make me feel safe, I put up this brick wall
I try to build trust, but something won't let me
The thoughts in my head, just won't let me see
See how things, are not really what they seem
Like the fear that I have, when I have a bad dream
I want to be normal, like others are
I want to reach out, but it seems too far
But sometimes I pray, that it will soon come
Within my reach, so my fear will be none

It's a nice poem Trina.
We are feeling the same thing now...It's really hard to build up trust once you've been hurt but you won't really know what love is if you don't know what pain is too.
Good luck to both of us.
