Topic: war

In the thick snow, weapon drawn, heart racing, mind focused,
Soldier stops to stare at the night sky, the stars remind him of his love,
Her hair,
Her eyes,
Her lips,
Her beauty,
Her Fur,
The Soldier goes to war for this furry, The blue fox of beauty and passion,
The bond that couldn't be destroyed, torn, or broken,
The Soldier presses on, rifle in hand, marching, waiting, hoping.
While she waits for him silently to return to her arms once more.
