Kaalvoet in die reen.
Waar ly die liefde ons heen?
Met net mekaar om op testeen.
In sonskyn maanlig en reen.
Waar ly die liefde ons heen?
Waar ly die liefde ons heen?
Oor vlakdis en daale.
Met gedagdis van gister telke maale.
Met droome van more wat bly staan.
Hand aan hand wandel ons saam.
Kaalvoet in die reen.
Waar ly die liefde ons heen?....

first time seeing a poem in afrikaans on this site, its pretty good.
