Just when I thought all hope was gone
Along came a dear fellow
Who showed me there can be brighter sides to life
And helped me regain faith in mankind
He told me theres no reason to be afraid anymore
And now the only emotion I feel is affection,
Affection for not only him but for who I am when in his company
As long as he is by my side I shall stay in this pauperized world
And pray that what he says is true
