Long days of reaching for hands not there
Or looking for a lost lovers stare
Days with thought of time thats squandered
Whist walking a dying fen Ive wandered
When once, her bonfire, illumed my way
Now cold wet ashes, loves vanquished display
What would have doused a fire so bright?
None but the tears, she has cried at night
