When I heard your words In a voice still tender The smoothness of a pebble on the beach I felt With unyielding hardness Embedded in your words Yet, treacherous are your eyes and your smile The endearing discipline in your words they escape
At times I stay long Tread upon risks to listen to your eyes Be captured by the soft sheen of your gaze Snuggle in the soft curve of your smile Away they carry me where The echoes of the words Unheard
