its hard to say goodbye
when the truth you hid behind once again became your alaby
tears are in their eyes
and their aching hearts wince at that last goodbye
but the unknown truth and secrets and lies
stay forgotten in weary tides
and never again will they meet
for they admitted defeat
to the distance that lied between their feet
