okay

Topic: abstract

yeah, okay
well just maybe
i'm losing all of ME
it is now night
and still it's today
i'll never see
see tomorrow
oh, blame me
-sorry inside joke-
just name me
purple and blue choked
collar with placid eyes
twisted up so tight

Yeah, okay
i have feelings
of an almost human nature
and still we're drying on the vine
our salvation is slipping
slipping away
with each passing second of time
and i fear
yes, i fear
i haven't learned
the things i was put here for
oh, i tear
yes i tear
for their words
that tell i haven't earned
Earned
THIS

simple signs
that tell me i'm still alive
i'm here today
and tomorrow is for someone else
i may be lost
but i'm still on my way
i don't have to bare a cross
but i will always care for
my PAIN
it's the only pay
it's the only way
it's the only pavement
that can bruise my sole
at this late time in the eve-ment

......

moments pass by like
stillborn dreams
lost with the first glance of light
sad to the touch
when dawn arrives
i wipe my mind clear of the signs
i could not read

lost in remission
due to my condition
of our situation
that's building this condensation
that's melting down on all fibers
Of ME

Yeah, okay
i can't see
how i let myself breath
in this illusionary realm
we call today

if i had my way
if i had it today
i would be kneeling here
praying as i pray
for equality
equality in everyway
for you
yes for you and me
SO,
i can see tomorrow like...

Yeah okay!
