NO LOVE In life there are times when there is no love, no affection, no comfort, no hope, no empathy, no life. Without love there is no affection, no comfort, no hope, no empathy, no life. Sometimes we are alone, we have no one, not even ourselves, because without love we know not who we are, we are lost, hopeless, helpless, sometimes paralyzed with fear. Not knowing if our next decision will make things worse or better, yet the fear of making it worse drives us to do nothing, to become dishonest with ourselves and everyone around us. It seems automatic that we disconnect with reality, we shun confrontation, and we refuse to be broken in the eyes of others, though we are broken, fragile, and easily abused. It seeps out of every aspect of our life, our relationships fail, careers end, and we feel it is the end and it is the end, end of what? We want to know, end of a beautiful thing, something that could of lasted a lifetime, something so wonderful it could never be duplicated, or is this just the fantasy we have created to shelter ourselves from the truth, the truth we could not bear to begin with. That we are born destroyers of ourselves and everything around us. We destroy marriages, our children, our wives and husbands, our parents, our businesses. We are the one common denominator in every aspect of failure in our lives. We cant blame anyone, were we not there? Is this the end????

I completely agree that writing is a way to help get the hurtful feelings out. As sad as it is to see people hurting, it's good to see that some know there are alternatives to letting it fester inside. |
