SUNRISE!

When I look at a sunrise,
I see the dawning of a new day,
And the expression of your eyes
With the many things they say.

When I look at a sunrise,
I see the coming of a sky so blue,
And then I find it no surprise
How much I love you

When I look at a sunrise,
I know today the world seems bright.
Even though my aging eyes dim,
And disease is stealing away my sight!

So now I get to feel the sunrise,
On my face, all warm with sweat.
I know that in my mind I will look,
And be seeing all those sunrises yet!
