Rope burnt Ribbons cut Heartstrings severed Knives are slashed, hacked, stabbed Gaping wounds of malice drip unseen.
Thoughts, feelings, memories, Locked in the back of the mind, Laughter, shrugs, smiles Push past streams of tears inside.
Snarls, grunts, screams, Clash with shrill giggles of the blessed, The emptiness of my soul stuffed with the ashes of hope.
The hearts pain threshold exposed, Cloaked only by false humors disguise, Alone among-st a raging sea of voices, There is one which remains unheard.

| This is really good poetry. I had to read it twice to let the meaning really sink in. |
