Loneliness is not a true companion
But it is a companion its true!
Tender hearted, you're holding back
Not a thing from your beloved.
Having your heart handed to you,
But only small pieces at a time!
A poet in the making even
Though your heart is breaking.
Youre getting better all the time.
You speak to everyone else in rhyme!
With your heart beating now quite fast,
Its crescendo you hope will last.
The encouragement you can share
With lonely people everywhere.
Leading you now to ink your quill.
You havent forgotten your pain, but still
It gets duller everyday,
In time youre sure it will go away.
When you read back those words of yours,
You realize youve found the cure!
Youre lonely no more!
