I, a blob of sludge, float alone. Gazing too long and needy. Till the top layer discovered my foundering, and Found in it a reason to hate me.
My haircut was dated, wet parting, I wriggled bent specs up my nose. Till the top layer spat out their annoyance, thus my habits I'd bask in alone.
"Too many ticks, you!" she spat, Her anger, it haemorrhaged, like treacle. It was now that I harboured dark passions, to Inwardly submerge wretched people.
I would cry, black in palm, unrelenting, Till it seemed I might drown in my shoes. Confusion, good-health, barely floating, on A cotton barrel drenched in my tears.
