The cold wind of compo

Did I love with a warm heart
or as coldly as a winter breeze
That cuts my well wrapped lovers to the quick
and brings tears to their eyes

As I sit now ruminating on regret
Watching leaves fall from the trees
Knowing my passion all possession
and all my admiration just jealousy

I wonder is the lesson Ive learned compensation to my lovers?
