She Lays awake all night long, trying to figure out just what she did wrong. Do they really hate her? Everythings a blur. Sometimes she wonders why they hit She prays they will quit. People at school see the bruises, nobody beleives her intresting exuses she looks around, and tries to find a rock, someone to trust, someone to shock. She tells a teacher, nothing is done, she cries, wishing she had just one gun finally one day, her refuge comes, inside her head, she lightly hums the teacher is ready, awaiting her story Ms. Carmen looks down, eyes filled with worry The class comes in ready to learn, but the teacher is too filled with concern A kid stares at the poor little girl, and she turns around with just one swirl "whats wrong with your face?" the little girl runs out of the room with disgrace In the bathroom, she sits to cry she even wishes that she could die. Ms. Carmen comes in and takes her hand together they walk, like a marching band down the hallway, down the steps nothing she finds can releive her stress the story is told, yet again to a counselor taking notes with a glittery pen. somehow she knows, she'll never go home nobody can harm the poor little girl suddenly her stomache begins to swirl. the counselor finally puts down her pen, Jessica asks her, "will it ever end?"
