flesh torn a sunder to the blast of a broken soul his ribs open a gaping hole eyes mimick thunder from a distant gun ringing eyes to a set sun
heart blown wide a window fires blazing in his hands soaring birds past the window over barren lands
now on the bed were they made love kisses the fingers on a aching dove shattering open a distant breeze calls to heaven on his knees
a swift pure cry burns tears strewn about the room stomach bleeds and turns a nearing end entombs
