No such thing as a love poem

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

How can there be a poem 'of love'
with all the words like 'moon above'
When we all know that loves a pearl
that's shared between a boy and girl.

How can others read this poem
between these two who've found a home
where love is nurtured, rhapsodized
and can't be seen by prying eyes.

These two in need of solitude
to grow their love with amplitude.
So strong a bond between the two
cannot be shared by me or you.

So you see, to public make it
stresses, forces, surely shakes it.
About a love that's just for two,
There cannot be a poem for you.

I do like the poem but I have to say that I don't agree with the contents. The poem is well written and flows nicely though.

No 11 of the next 10, no that's wrong it's got to be No 1 of the second ten or....no 11 of the first 20............ But only 20 ? Surely I will read them all...............

Well if all of them disagree with you on this one.......I DON'T, meaning I think you're right,
and it's well written.
And after all......one doesn't walk down the street together shouting "Look we're in love!" in fact if one sees a couple making a public show of themselves one tends to find it very off putting.
(well my wife does.)
