As we spoke on the phone
The clock struck midnight
I wished him happy New Year
Before saying goodnight
Its 2009, the first day started off just fine
I prayed that this year will be great
That itll be far better than 2008
I expect my wedding in July
But as I think of it Im beginning to cry
You see, my love hasnt told me if hes ready
And if I ask hell say Dont worry
He never gives a reason
He never tells me why
And if he dont tell me this season
There will be no wedding in July
