anguished

i cant hear the echoe of the rain and remeber the pounding of the heart i dont see my reflection in still water silence overtook me on a highway
legs cant stand tall crumble down and fall lonesome means the world to me my eyes fail me to see id lie my bed to sleep
i cant speak sounds of pain barely know my own name beauty in the river and in the moon and sky once mirrored in my eye
if today didnt seem a barren trail my mind wouldnt drift to sail burns me this lonely again so i sit and think with a pen
