Stolen now am I into the darkness-
The shadow that follows behind-
A memory that became us-
Missing pieces of me no one can see
Each day renders another broken heart-
Passing nights surrounded by shattered dreams-
As the unknown future ravishes my soul-
Making bitter the existence of love
I linger within the desolate depths of solitude-
In my mind, thoughts traverse within a maze-
Seeking doors, which secure unanswered questions-
About love and all that I have mistaken
Spent days waking up lost memories-
While darkness surrounds me, a haze upon my mind-
A man changed, becoming cold and hard inside -
Unaware of laughter, unable to embrace loves blessing

| One of the best I've read! You wisely state in the second verse that the future is UNKNOWN. It's a slow, slow process but things do improve over time. Hang in there! |
