When Coroldi walked away

When we said goodbye with sirens in our ears Broken hearted and holding back the tears. Not knowing if we would ever meet again And so having to endure years of pain.
You flying away to dreamland destinations Me standing alone with all my frustrations. How will I know if you will answer my call All I learn of you is the little on your wall.
Don't blame me for searching the heavens My mind running wild at sixes and sevens. I write you a letter and send it East But nothing returns to calm the Beast.
He paces about the castle ground There's no news of you, you're not around. Those sirens repeat their endless ringing Drowning out the sound of the bird's singing.
