raindrops and wishes

I sat on the porch lastnite,,
and i watched it rain,,
I wondered if,,
raindrops could be wishes,,
I wondered if,,
each raindrop that dropped to the ground,,
was a wasted wish,,
if a raindrop landed on you,,
would it happen,,
if it did,,
I would dance in the raindrops,,
and collect every wish,,
knowing that the wishes would come true,,
then i realized,,
how many wishes would be wasted,,
millions of wasted wishes,,
because i couldn't catch them all,,
I'm sorry that I couldnt catch,,
your wish,,
it was something that was special,,
but i will hope to catch the next one,,
that your wish would come true,,
something happy,,
something needed,,
someone to be there for you,,
but it's just my wish,,
that they were wishes,,
that i could catch them for you,,
still it rains here,,
raindrops fall like wishes,,
