Cant you see that I'm sorry,
I never meant to lead you on that way
things seem to go so wrong for me,
I just want to live my life day by day.
Please forgive me for my sin,
do me a favor and reach out your hand
i need you like the day needs night
seems that I'm never putting up a good fight.
Never knew what I had until you walked away
I wish you'd come back to me.
But it seems nothings ever meant to be,
the way I want it to be.
Now I look back at all the memories,
just to realize you were what they call a fantasy
Sometimes you gotta let go of things,
so others can fall into place just how its supposed to be
Didn't want you to leave I cant let you go,
your embedded in my heart, my body and my soul.
There's so much that I wanted to say to you,
but I couldn't it was just to much to prove.
Holding your hand all the sudden you leave,
seemed no matter what I did you wasn't happy.
Took you out bought you things to make you love me,
wanted good but all you showed my was the ugly.
How did this happen all I did was love you,
your gone now there's nothing left that I have to prove.
Give me back my pieces all I want to be is free,
take me away from the bad and just leave me be.

| Ah.. a fellow poet and musician. Good to see you've taken out you frustrations in a positive way. I play guitar when I feel down. Would like to hear any songs you've made if you've posted them somewhere. Truly , Doug |
