what is love

Contributed by lyricalpoet on Wednesday, 30th November 2011 @ 06:43:03 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

love nothin but a word with an I with a dot above it
love is suppose to heal you when life toughens
but what does it heal its doesnt heal nothin
it just becomes into another reason
why another tear is falling...........
i get a text i hear someone callin
just another heartbeat
tellin you they fonna be the one to catch you when you fallin
love is just an empty word has no meaning
like taking shelter in home that has no cieling
love with meaning love is just an empty feeling that replaces other feelings
love is just another word your breathing
love is just any other word your hearing
that makes you see what in fact your not really seeing
love what is love to many to else who feel it
love is heavier then air love is hard to breath it
people use the word with out feeling into it
i learned now to look before i fall in to it

it's oh, not a text i hope, not while driving at least, not a post card, or a greeting card, or part of a song wilting, dismissively wrongfully paraphrased with just a popular beat, only three chords, metering, melody, hypnotic, as though it might seem when one is in the right frame of mind, or special mood
like answering a phone once in a while, acting like it matters, then really listening to the voice on the other end.
What is love, what is it, its more than just sick, you happen to rely on just what love is, but who can define it, only you can.

And you can, and you do, without even thinking... and, I might add, very secretively too. Thanks!
Peace!
