The past was alone and quiet
The present accompanied and inspired
The future filled with promise and togetherness
Today I am loved with tenderness
Yesterday I was unsure and not willing to explore
Tomorrow I will love as you teach me more
Last night I was alone and did not know
Tonight I need to share and show
Last year I had no means of dreaming
This year you gave me reason for living
Mondays I would do the same as before
Sundays would be lonely, only pain to endure
Ten years ago I was alone and had no tomorrow
Ten years later I am with you, you love away my sorrow

God saw that need, in the first man's heart,
and gave us the best gift ever, Women!

because of the words flowing from you now
