Theres manicures and pedicures,
And Cosmetologists too.
Next there are permanents
Smeared with dippity do.
Then theres mascara,
And blushes and hues,
Highlighter, eyeliner,
But still their not through.
False lashes and nails,
And I wonder what else?
But let us not go there,
Im ahead of myself.
And lips can turn red,
Or purple or blue,
From wax in a tube.
Wheres the girl I once new?
The very same products
Are often used on all clowns.
But one look at my girl
Turns my world upside down.
Now Ill take my beauty,
And be proud anyplace.
Even if she forgets
To put that goop on her face!
