anguished

the glimmer of a rose ignored no one knows and i seem to cry as this romance dies
rain unfurls on open ground my heart aches to hear the sound treachourous life fades to dust to think once of the summer lust
a kiss screams in an echoe wind blows a breeze to a open cinder your hair so ember red leaves me down and dead
trees barren of sweet fruit the thick air seems to suit the face i wear to mask the pain downtrodden on a misty lane
