Instant of a Dream

From afar the quest of destiny flushes the fog
Swirling hopes and dreams all meet,
At a wave of despair that this is the day
All that is known in complete dismay.
Utopian throbs of life surge through the air,
A wave back that brings uncertain illustration,
That the thoughts of fulfilled desire cause frustration.
That was the day, the day all changed.
From a wave to the spark that
Lit a flame that burns evermore in my heart.
