WHEN IS ENOUGH ENOUGH?
HOW DO YOU KNOW?
IS IT WHEN YOU HAVE
CRIED SO MANY TEARS
EVEN AN OCEAN WOULD OVERFLOW?
OR IS IT WHEN EVERY LAST DROP OF FEELING
HAS BEEN DRAINED
AND NOTHING BUT AN EMPTY
BROKEN SHELL REMAINS?
COULD IT BE WHEN YOUR HEART
FEELS NOTHING ANYMORE?
WHEN ALL YOU HEAR
ARE SLAMMING DOORS
OR MAYBE ITS ONE MORE REJECTION
ONE MORE LOSS
ONE MORE DISSAPPOINTMENT
AND REALIZING WHAT
IT ALL HAS COSTS
MAYBE ITS ONE MORE
CLAP OF THUNDER
OR RAIN CLOUD
OR YOUR HEART BEGGING FOR MERCY OUTLOUD
MAYBE ITS NEVER ENOUGH
TIL ATLAST WERE DEAD
WHEN FINALLY WERE STILL
NO MORE THOUGHTS
RUSHING THROUGH OUR HEAD
ALL I KNOW IS ITS TOUGH
WHEN IT NEVER SEEMS THAT
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
