I'm tired, I'm so very tired
Can it be the way I'm wired
I'm just so doggone weary
The world has become bleary
Each day I awake dull and glazed
I go through each hour dazed
I feel it to my very bones
Is that why I feel so alone
I tried hitching myself up by the belt
Is this the hand meant to be dealt
Was there something I missed before
Did I not look before I opened the door
I tried to look behind the curtain
I checked the mirror to be certain
Is it me, or has an unhappy clone
Left me stranded our here alone
I must find the missing piece that is me
I'll go tearing through land and sea
I know that rest awaits me in the end
Will you wait for me, my friend
