I loved once, and I lost
Four good years that came with a hefty cost
That seems ages ago now
But my heart still bears scars from broken vows
In fact that seems to be the only thing I remember
Especially during the month of December
Its been five years since this relationship hit the fan
With most of blame lying solely on this man
I have forgotten over time
What is like to call another mine
Forgotten what it was like to share my heart
With someone that will not depart
It feels like I will never recover
All those things I had when I was lover
How could I fall for someone ever again?
When it feels like all my love has been lost on Lynn
Will there ever be day
When my love will once again have a say?
