My Friend's Girl

Contributed by angelus8663 on Tuesday, 13th December 2011 @ 03:22:08 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Should I tell you what I know, what he does, what hes done,
The girls he cheats with, he says dont worry its just fun.
Hes always been this way, its never bothered me before,
Now its wrong, why does he need more?

I think its me, Ive done the unthinkable, the worst,
Ive fallen for you and he saw you first.
As much as I want to be with you, for you to see me,
I cant betray a friend, then who would I be?

So now Im stuck, torn apart inside, what should I do?
If I tell you the truth, youll hate me too.
Except I hate to see you betrayed like this,
I long to experience your loving soft kiss.

Im conflicted and emotions run through me like fire,
And of this struggle Im beginning to tire.
I look for answers wherever I can, I seek help from friends,
They tell me that in the end, all love ends.

Ill keep my peace for now, and get him to change his ways,
To treat you right, for all of your days.
Because you should be happy, even if its not with me,
Im so confused, should I just let things be?
