Mother earth gasps for air/
as her throat is throttled by
massive hands of rampant greed
Large sums of pleasure paper
erect barriers on a concrete
globe of absurdity, while
lifes' victims aimlessly murder
each other in a misdirected efforrt
toward equality, balance and revenge.
The terror of the wealth machine
goes unnoticed as unchained slavery
brings twelve hour workdays and peon wages
to the captured working poor.
The battlefield is not in the streets,
the enemy is not ourselves
Wars are lost when the real enemy
is not identified or uniformed.
Resist the urge to hate and hurt
embrace your brothers and sisters
and ignore labels placed on street people
by politicians, fanatic bible distorters,
Wall St. illusionists and propganda media,
designed to polarize and alienate
We must all be standing as one
when the wolf comes to the door
