I am so proud of you
of the wonderful job that you do
you save lives and fight fires
and never once do you tire
proud and tall
and quite handsome too
I know for a fact
you would never let anyone fall
I know there have times
when things do not work out as planned
and sadness you feel
for you the pain is unreal
You are a brave one you are
I know you are quite humble
you never let anyone stumble
you grab a hose
a fire out of control
what will happen
no one really knows
you fight til the end
til the danger has passed
you help those to mend
and make sure they are alright
for you truly do worry about their plight
so thank you for all that you are
I know you do not hear it that often
but to me you are the bravest by far
so ladies step out of line
because I want you to know
that this firefighter is mine
until the end of time
