Happy Never After

The fairy-tales over, no more once upon a time,
Our loves run its course, no more ours, just mine.
The feelings are gone, and wont ever come back,
Its time to part ways, put our lives back on track.

Im sorry if this seems mean, or overly harsh,
Our lifes bogged down, were drowning in a marsh.
In the start, it was great, it was amazing and pure,
But now it is over, of that were both sure.

We try to pretend, that everythings fine,
Lets be honest, under it, we should draw a line.
No more fake smiles, or feigned interest please,
Our relationship needs cured, like a nasty disease.

So its time to be true, and say how we really feel,
Deal with our problems; its time to get real.
Im not kidding this time, you wont hear any laughter,
Our fairy-tale: Once upon a time to Happy Never After.
