I Would Talk With Thee
I would talk with thee - - for I am lost
See here before you kneels but a man - -
With confusion in his heart - - the cost
Of loving deeply of her - - woman
She came to me bereft of money...
And I - - took her in and kept her warm
Twas good for me - - Lord - - oh lonely me
But now within my stomach flies swarm
She has taken me - - yet spat me out
For what reason - - truly I know not
When asked of this she doth scream and shout
With fiery eyes - - oh - - and passion hot
Counsel me - - for I would have her so - -
Complete with temper and her madness
Tell me how - - my Lord - - for you must know
And I shall worship you with gladness
