ARE YOU JUST USING ME?

I used to love a woman
Who would only tell me lies!
She tried to mix stories with some truth
That got compounded every time she tried!
I asked her Are you just using me,
So that some things can get done?
Do you lie when you say you love me,
When I tell you youre the One?
Are you just using me
When you let me hold your hand?
When you wrap your arms around me
And make me feel just like a man?
Are you just using me
When you let me kiss your lips?
Or even when I take your hand
Pressing lips to fingertips?
Are you just using me
When its time to pay the bills?
Then step away just for a day
And trust that Ill be waiting still?
Are you just using me
Because you really needed too?
If thats the only way to have you,
Then Darling, use me - do!
And so I let it go so far
She bankrupted me from inside.
She broke my spirit till I kicked her out,
Now that love for her has died!
