Youve asked me to wait, and I want to agree,
But do you understand, how much this means to me?
Ive waited forever, to have this chance,
And now you want to lead me on this merry dance.
I understand your doubts, and the pain youve gone through,
But I can help you to deal, and be there for you.
You owe it to yourself, to give us a try
You wont regret it, as the years go by.
Friendship is important, but love is special too,
If you listen to your heart, youll know what to do.
I hope you reconsider; you shouldnt do this alone,
Every time you say no, my heart lets out a groan.
Ive said my piece now, and I hope youll debate
Whether to give us a chance or whether to wait.
I dont mean to pressure you, and if you want Ill take a bow,
I just hope youll decide, for us, what about now?
