I gaze into your youthful eyes
And wonder what's new that I shall find
Perhaps you're amazed at opportunity in your lifeHow I wish none but the best oh lover of mine
And now I wonder what revelation you see in these
Hazel windows leading to my loving yet imperfect heart
I hope I am still perfection in your eyes
Am I still the love of your life
I believe I am still your precious treasure
And there is assurance you find me beautiful
I know I revealed my gentle and stern sides
Both of which you familiarize with and toy at
Oh how I wish my heart's softness would be dominant and captivate your soul evermore
In that way I know in me you believe
That I am still perfection in your eyes
That I'm still the love of your life
That I'm still your precious treasure
And I am assured you find me beautiful
Is there a way I can draw you closer to me
In a manner where I can be all you want me to be
And in return I'll console and caress your heart
Just as I promised right from the start
