mom

You've been thru a lot both good and bad

I've seen you happy and i've seen you sad

you were my mommy all warm and sweet

you were the one to comfort me

told me to pursue my dreams and make life count

told me about Jesus and what thats all about

but slowly mommy you changed you see

you not the woman you wanted to be

you settled mom, for less than your best

you studied so hard but never took the test

work 24/7 its always the same

and home cant be great with all that pain

i see in it your eyes, you know this isnt right

but your not willing to defend yourself, others, and fight

its been like this for way to long

you, yourself know this is wrong

but when it came down to it, you had to choose

me or him, you couldnt lose

so now you deal with his anger and demands

you didn't pick me. i understand

Wow, You're a great son to be so understanding.
You remind me of my son. Of course, Iwouldn't choose any man over my children. Me n' god raised them alone. I'm saying this by any means judge our condemning your mother her or any body. You just got me to thinking.
Happy holidays, big huggs, smiles, blessings,
emy
