Of Harmony And Joy

That coat of woe weighs heavy dear
Let me take it from you - - cast
It away with all speed and urgency
You should not need it any more

Throw open the emotional door - -
Do it now with all expediency
There - - see now how well at last
That feels to toss away the fear

Do not wear that old coat any more
But here instead - - take this
The cloth of hope and well-being

From it well weave a different thread
And sew a garment fit to task
One that brings sweet harmony and joy
