Holiday Poetry
|
a gift to you,
uncertain words
lilting, dangerous
and absurd
Yuletide cheer,
and Holy days
(I'll hang on to the older ways)
St Nick and Rudolph
elves and snow,
a Christmas tree with
lights aglow
family gathered,
presents rife
smiling faces
broad with life
faith and hope,
so it goes
not for everyone, you know
a gift to you,
certain words
not so dangerous,
or absurd.
