Changing Seasons

As seeds within the earth
We grow,
We learn to love,
We learn to share,
We learn to be with one another.
As warm wind blows
And seasons change,
New leaves upon these trees
Sproutto liveto laugh
To be with us As we
Sway within the wind--together.
And sometimes leaves
May fall from these trees,
And colors may change.
Red, Purple, Yellowyet
Green within our hearts
They will always be.
Thoughat times--
The wind may blow too fast
Or--The seasons too shortthat--
We do not feel the sun
Within our pores--Nor,
Do we saver the pollen--
Of our youthBut.
As strong as the sun may be
Or--as fast as the wind may blow
The lovethat is
Carved within our roots
Can never be torn away.
