I Will Grow Old By Your Side

I look at you and have to sigh
You have a face like no other
In that it is as fine as porcelain
Yet to touch as smooth as marble

In short you are remarkable
I try to tell you again and again
But you do not seem to bother
You are my Goddess upon high

I am humbled by your beauty
For I am no Adonis of nature
I am encompassed by your light

No matter what age you reach
Time will look favourably on you
And I will grow old by your side
