To see it in your eyes
But not hear the words
More than I can bear
Please God
Why wont she share
I know its true
I didnt see a lie
This isnt happening
Can someone tell me why
Eveything happens
For a reason
So if this is not it
Id rather quit
Than to go on
Without you in my life
It seems all wrong
A life without love
Just too damn long
Why do I love you
Too many reasons to say
But I know you brighten
My darkest day
Many have come
Many have gone
But dont feel bad
They were all wrong
Sometimes I think
This is all a waste
Of time
But I will not commit
The ultimate crime
Too often I've loved
Without saying so
I wont do that with you
So I have to let you know
There isnt a day
Without a thought of you
The words I say
Are always true
I made so many mistakes
In my life
Like who to trust
Even my wife
I trust you now
And always will
I have faith in you
Like none before
I just want you
Nothing more
You dont want to hurt me
So you say
But alone I am
Each and every day
You once said
You thought of me
And I of you
Come be my girl
And see Im true
