Cure

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Sink the blade into your heart and watch your troubles fade
See the blood drip slowly as the memories invade
Feel the sorrow drench you with your own pathetic cries
Watch your body disappear into your many lies
Taste the broken happiness that lies upon your face
Breathe the air of loneliness, for you were a disgrace
Turn the many pages of the story not yet told
Touch the falling sunsets and the skies of ruined gold
Reach for every laugh that dares to stand before you now
Feel the lost emotion that has grasped your mind somehow
Force the knife into your skin and watch your future die
Feel the deep regret that you can no longer deny
Taste the words unspoken slip away into the air
Struggle for a breath without a moment left to spare
Wrap your fingers slowly round the trigger of the gun
Close your eyes and be prepared, for now the days are done
Hang your head in shame and say your final set of words
Watch your heartbeat turn to dust and wish it wasnt cured

I really like this. Very detailed. I've felt that way before too.

Why you have such pain?
