Her destiny is her own, shes in control,
She refuses to live, on lifes parole.
No one can tell her, what to do or say,
Makes her own way in the world, every day.
Her choices are varied, and done on a whim,
Spontaneity is her elixir, curiosity her sin.
She travels widely, refuses to be tied down,
No man in her life, she fears a wedding gown.
Ne belief in fate, or for her life, a plan,
Whenever she felt a guiding hand, she ran.
In her whole life, she never stopped to think,
Then her heart gave out, she was gone in a blink,
Turns out like everyone, she had an expiration date,
As hard as she fought, she could not fight her fate.
Our fate is not our own, the choice is not ours,
Ultimately our destiny, is written in the stars.
