A little girl waits in the cold She sits to watch her life unfold But cold is pain and pain brings tears This hurt shell face for many years Dear angel please help this small child Before her sad thoughts drive her wild Send her hope to fill her heart To give her life a chance to start Dont overlook this fragile creature Find her someone who will teach her How life is not a dreadful thing Hear the little blue bird sing? Fill her thoughts with joy and love And maybe she will rise above This sadness shes learned to embrace Which shows itself upon her face A message that she cannot hide One that bubbles deep inside Its power growing ever strong Which makes her cry a dreary song One of hate and death and fear A wish someone would draw her near To hold her close and not let go To help the warmth inside her grow So please sweet angel save this life Before the outcome of her strife Leads to sorrow deep within And she commits her greatest sin
