Shall I spare you the fate, of those I've fought before? For you have denied me, the same respect that I bore My words speak soft with remorse, not without spite For my most trusted friend has done me wrong tonight
Mightiest of men know treacherous pain, And clean it from them like dirt and stain I myself am incapable of such a task I can not hide my anger in triumphant mask
I hold up this sword, I hold myself steady Fear not trusty shield, for we are ready I charge at you, forgetting who you were Hoping upon the ground, soon you will stir

Fighting often seems to come from rash decision making. Perhaps more people should think before they act.
I enjoyed the last two lines were my favorite, as they depicted the mindset of how you feel after you have been wronged. |
